The last little bit of the special Argentina food experience ended at the "end of the world", Ushuaia. Near the port of Ushuaia is a restaurant by the name of "Gustino". The food is good (great if you have been craving something that's not red meat) with interesting plating. It has wonderful ambiance looking over the port of Ushuaia.
We had chicken kabobs with what I believe to be avocado mayo as our appetizer, pan fried fish with mashed potato and red pepper sauce as the main course. As with other parts in Argentina, the protein parts of the meal were prepared in a simple way and very well cooked. The meal was finished with an apple pie that could have easily been better.
If you want to return to a diet more similar to the ones back at home, this is the place to be.
